Ruby red colour with aromas of red currant, blackberry and raspberry. Notes of peppers preceding the spicy aromas of vanilla, nutmeg and licorice. On the palate notes of espresso coffee and ground pepper and well-recognizable tannins. Soft and balanced taste, good intensity and persistent finish. Overall, a wine with good body and good harmony that expresses the different peculiarities of the territories. Rich and powerful.
Goes very well with strong, decisive foods such as stuffed or baked pasta, roasted game, grilled beef steaks.
