Roberto Sarotto - Rosato Langhe DOC * 2021

The Langhe Rosato is made from the Nebbiolo grape variety. This is usually harvested at the end of September and the grape skins are left in the must for a few hours. Fermentation takes place at a constant cool temperature in stainless steel tanks. On average, Roberto Sarotto produces 5,000-6,000 bottles of Langhe Rosato a year.

Brilliant, warm pink with red-gold reflections. Spicy notes, ripe, preserved red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries are subtly interwoven with a mineral-earthy hint of undergrowth. Long, full-bodied, fruity-sweet start, balanced sweetness/acidity, finely tart counterpoint, but subtle minerality. Youthful, fruity wine with a subtle sweetness.
