Aia Vecchia - Bolgheri
Present for generations in the wine sector, the Pellegrini family decided in 1996 to create and undertake the Aia Vecchia project in order to produce wines of great quality. With the help and advice of the famous Hungarian winemaker Tibor Gal, land of particular interest was purchased in privileged areas of the Tuscan coast, such as Bolgheri and the Maremma Grossetana.
For the realization of the vineyard systems, the New Zealand agronomist Daniel Schuster is consulted.
In 1998 the first "LAGONE" wine was presented, a structured wine with a clear expression of the territory from which it comes. At the same time a very elegant and pleasant wine that immediately attracts the attention of lovers of the sector, so that important reviews from of the specialized press such as Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast and others could be collected.
