I Balzini
I Balzini was founded in 1980 with the creation of the first vineyards by Vincenzo D'Isanto, a Florentine tax advisor who was inspired by the desire to produce a wine that should be completely different from the usual wines from Tuscany.
After a careful analysis of the soils, the ideal grape varieties were identified that best expressed the vocation of the territory.
I Balzini is part of the Great Crus of Italy Committee, the association founded in 2005 to protect and develop the prestige of wineries that have been producing great wines with top-level ratings for at least 20 years. The winery was selected on the basis of strict quality criteria, taking into account their history and tradition in the wine sector and for the high degree of reliability in producing wines of the highest level.
