Creation - Reserve Syrah * 2018

Dense, deep in colour, almost black; flashes of royal purple and a spark of red – shiny and multi-dimensional like a polished garnet. A generously aromatic wine impressing with maraschino cherry and peppery spice interwoven with whiffs of violet. Lusciously ripe on the silky palate, yet with vibrant minerality to offer exciting complexity. Lingering echoes of anise and clove add to the allure. The wine was riped in 25% new and 75% used (second and third filling) French oak barrels.

Ideally with strong meat dishes or cremy risotto's.
