Silverthorn - MCC The Jewel Box * 2017

Radiant straw yellow with a fine perlage in the glass and a scent of roasted coals, marzipan and fine notes of strawberries and cherry compote followed by spicy citrus notes. On the palate rich and full with a soft, reddish creaminess and a nice weight.

Jewel Box is inspired by the ethos of African synergy that combines ancient European heritage and knowledge with our modern African environment and culture. The wine spends at least 41 months on the lees to develop optimal complexity.

Best with starters and light dishes.
