The story begins with a long-cherished dream that came true in 1988 with the purchase of a plot of land at the foot of the Monte Orfano hill, right in the heart of Franciacorta. This is where the Barbalonga winery came into being. It is the beginning of waiting, joy and hope. It was not until 2011, after a long period of experimentation, that the first grapes were carefully harvested and handpicked.
In the years that followed, the dream grew and another small winery was added, where a new cuvée was experimented with. Each harvest is unique and the wines have extremely strong personalities.
