The winery is located in the center of the "Tavoliere delle Puglie". There are numerous ancient finds in this old cultural landscape. One of the most important is the "Hypogeum of Ganimede", very close to the Massimo Leone winery. This was also a reason to plant local wine here.
The Massimo Leone wines are planted in the "Necropoli Dauni", a slightly brownish stone floor. The main goal of the company is quality. To achieve this goal, special attention is paid to even watering and careful pruning. All these efforts make it possible to keep the production per hectare low while cultivating the grapes for optimal growth in order to produce high quality wine
The vines are located in “Posta di S. Nicola d’Arpi” where Fiano, Falanghina, Bombino, Primitivo, Aglianico, Nero di Troia and Montepulciano are cultivated.
