Dark garnet red in colour, a little peppery in the bouquet, roasted notes from the barrique storage, wonderfully spicy, reminiscent of very ripe cherries and blackberries. Full-bodied on the palate, balanced and rich in aroma with a suitable Cabernet structure, Merlot abundance and Pinotage finesse. Good balance, medium-long finish, a very successful and more than inexpensive Cape Blend!
Excellent with pasta, meat, grilled meats, game, risotto, spicy cheeses or dark chocolate.
