Donnafugata - Contesa dei Venti DOC Sicilia Vittoria * 2021

This Nero d'Avola is intense and accessible on the nose, with notes of violets, dark cherries, blackberries, plums and some pepper in the background. On the palate it is juicy, harmonious, with fine tannins and aromas of lavender, juniper, orange zest, black plums, cherries again and some white pepper in the fruity finish.

The Contesa dei Venti goes wonderfully with grilled vegetables and meat, sausages and lightly seasoned fish dishes. Also perfect with tuna sushi.
