Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom, the founders of the Gelati multinational Grom, after selling their ice cream empire to Unilever, bought 30ha of land in the Barbaresco, 10ha of which are planted with vines. There they now produce high-quality Barbarescos from individual layers, which meet the highest standards.

Fruit, silk, harmony. Romeo is born from the assembly of the four most important Piedmontese vines, grown on the clayey loam soils of Mura Mura. Romeo enhances the elegance of the fruit, with noble aromas of spices and very fine tannins behind it.
