Nico van der Merwe - Mas Nicolas * 2017

A dark, very dense crimson. In the bouquet with a very ripe berry note, tobacco, some cinnamon, lots of cedar wood, also notes of mocha and dark chocolate. On the palate with a lot of sweet extract at the beginning, wonderfully round in the body, powerful, soft and very long. Silky tannins accompany the long finish. A really great wine!

Excellent with pasta, meat, grilled meats, game, risotto, spicy cheeses or dark chocolate.
