Its name was used by the Romans to call their territory: The fifth region of the empire. It arises from a special selection of Montepulciano grapes coming from old plants, and after a long period of aging in wood, the wine with its ruby red colour imposes for elegance and power, with aromas of cherry, blackberry and prune with scents of licorice. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, enveloping and pronounced.

Goes very well with strong meat dishes, BBQ, risotto, pasta dishes or tasty cheeses.
